About This Guide
Teams of 25 seats and under can easily onboard themselves to Paperspace. Larger deployment sizes should reach out to our Enterprise Team by filling out a contact form here. This is a quick guide for setting up your Team. If you'd like to learn more about any of the steps or components mentioned here, please visit the Paperspace for Teams section of the Help Center for more information.
Note: Certain features are limited to larger teams. Learn more here.
Setting Up Your Team
Step 1: Sign up for an individual Paperspace account
Step 2: Request your account be converted to a Team by emailing email@example.com with your team/company name. There is no cost associated with converting your account to a Team.
Step 3: Once your account is converted, you can get started building out your Team with users and machines
You can add users by clicking the User tab in your Console. A user will log in using their email address and password, and when they sign in they'll only have access to the machines you create for them. A user has limited permissions, read more about that here. When you're creating a user, you can also determine whether they should be added as an Admin as well.
Note: At this time, Team Admins will need to send the login credentials to their users.
You can also create users at the same time you are creating machines for them.
You can create machines and assign them to users. Click the Create Machine button in the Machines section of the Console and select the specifications of your Paperspace machine. Under Machine Details, name the machine and click 'Assign' to assign it to an existing user or create a new one.
A machine can be assigned to multiple users, but may only be accessed by the user to which it's assigned. If you want to be able to access all machines as a Team Admin, make sure you add yourself as the accessor to the VM.
At this point, you have a basic team setup and are ready to start using Paperspace!
Paperspace offers several optional add-ons and integrations for your Team, from a private network and shared drives to full Active Directory integration. All options and pricing can be found here.
You can request integrations directly in the Console or by creating a support ticket.
